Veo 3.1 is Google’s video family with native audio and frame-directed generation. Standard, Fast and Lite are separate choices; the name alone doesn’t tell you the speed, price or inputs.

Decide whether you are starting a new clip or continuing one. For a new scene, begin with one action; for an extension, check the ending you want to continue and describe the next beat.
In AIFACECRAFT, Veo 3.1 and Veo 3.1 Fast accept reference inputs and can extend a clip. Veo 3.1 Lite takes first and last frames but doesn’t offer references or extension. Some choices fix the length: references, a last frame or 1080p use 8-second clips, and an extension adds 7 seconds at 720p. Check the panel after switching variants.
