How drafting works
Draft at 480p
Choose Seedance 2.5 Draft in Video. Write the prompt, add references and camera moves as usual. A draft is billed at the normal 480p rate.
Pick the take
Compare drafts for motion, timing and framing. Each draft carries a badge with the days it has left.
Upscale the keeper
Press Upscale to 1080p on the draft you want. The same take is finished at 1080p and billed at the 1080p rate.

Orbits, push-ins and handheld energy are easier to judge in motion than in a prompt.
Long takes
Seedance 2.5 runs single takes up to 30 seconds. Check the whole arc before the expensive render.

What is Seedance 2.5 Draft?
A separate model choice in AIFACECRAFT Video. It renders Seedance 2.5 at 480p so you can test an idea, then lets you upscale the take you like to 1080p.
Does upscaling change my video?
Upscaling finishes the same take at 1080p: the motion, timing and framing you approved in the draft. Review the final like any other result before you use it.
How long can I wait before upscaling?
A draft can be upscaled within 7 days. After that it expires and you make a new draft.
Is drafting cheaper?
A draft is billed at the normal 480p rate, and upscaling is billed at the 1080p rate. If you only keep one of several takes, drafting first usually costs less than rendering every attempt at 1080p. Studio shows the credits before each step. See pricing
